Weekly News & Updates – Inaugural
We'd like to start out by Welcoming You to our first ever Weekly News & Updates Announcement!
The 2ACoin Team has been working diligently to create a crypto-currency which provides you value, is fun to mine, and supports a great cause.
Up to now, we have just been posting updates and announcements to our BCT Channel (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4738943), our Discord channel (https://discordapp.com/invite/KnJtRe) or via Twitter (https://twitter.com/2ACoin). Most of these updates happen as new announcements are made, but for the most part they are sporadic and never provide the decent coverage that we want 2ACoin News & Updates to have. Therefore, we have decided to begin a Weekly News & Updates broadcast via the 2ACoin website.

2ACoin and N2AA Form Alliance
We made a formal announcement about the alliance between 2ACoin and N2AA.ORG. (original announcement here)
What is the N2AA.org, you ask? What is their purpose? From their website, it states;
The goal of the N2AA is to bring supporters of the 2nd amendment together in a world which is constantly trying to tear us apart.
The N2AA.org has some big plans to reach this goal. Plans that will be revealed soon! If you visit their website, you will see a countdown clock, counting down to November 5th, 2019. At which time the details of their plan will be revealed.
We see the alliance with N2AA as one that will benefit all ARMS holders. Unlike many crypto-currencies (especially alt-coins), 2ACoin will now have a marketplace to build value for ARMS!
N2AA.org Social Media Platform launch November 5th
N2AA.ORG is a new social media platform (aka Facebook®) for Gun Enthusiasts!!
Members will be allowed to post articles about guns, join gun groups, and sell/swap gun related merchandise all through this new network. Unlike other social media platforms that restrict or sometimes ban members for mentioning anything gun related, the N2AA.ORG website welcomes ALL GUN Enthusiasts.
In addition, there is a special built-in feature for crypto-currency enthusiasts relating to the ability to earn and accumulate 2ACoin ARMS while participating on the site. In addition to 2ACoin ARMS, other currencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin are also supported.
Residents of Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, and surrounding areas have a special incentive for joining the social media platform. Militia Armaments Gun Shows has announced the First Ever FREE gun show. Basically, members on the website that earn ARMS, can utilize their ARMS for access into the upcoming St. Charles, Mo. Gun Show on Nov. 22 – 24th!
The N2AA.ORG website plans to launch on November 5th, 2019.
New 2ACoin Mobile Wallet Released
This past week we released v0.1.0.8 of the 2ACoin Mobile Wallet called ARMSVault. This release includes a multitude of new enhancements/features and the speed of the application has been greatly enhanced with these updates. Some of the features included in this release are;
- API improvements for CoinGecko (Exchange Prices)
- Updated the wallet-back end API includes auto-optimization of wallet
- Faster block chain-sync with threading improvements
- Included additional authentication features (fingerprint, pin, faceid)
- Added animation features for wallet balance changes
- Misc. other improvements
Currently, the ARMSVault only supports Android Phones. But, we have plans to release an IOS version soon.
We encourage all 2ACoin users to download the ARMSVault and “Carry your ARMS with you, wherever you go!”.

pool.2acoin.org Upgrades
We upgraded the pool's core software to version Cryptonote-Nodejs-Pool v1.4.0 software. This upgrade ensures that we are running the latest cryptonote mining pool software.
As a component of this upgrade, we also switched our pool to utilize the CoinGecko API for all pricing related to 2ACoin ARMS.
You can now be assured, as 2ACoin's presence expands to other crypto-currency exchanges, the pricing reflected on the pool will accurately reflect the prices of 2ACoin ARMS across all exchanges.
ARMSBot Updates
For those of you who have participated in our Discord Server chat you most likely know about ARMSBot. As the name suggests, ARMSBot is our 2ACoin BOT for Discord that provides all kinds of information as it relates to 2ACoin. (click image for larger view)
We recently spent time working through the code behind ARMSBot to make it run ans respond faster to commands. We're really happy with the results!
As well as making the BOT faster, we have changed the Market commands to utilize CoinGecko's API for 2ACoin market information. This change now standardizes all of our market information touch points across all of the 2ACoin software. Thus providing users a common source of information for 2ACoin Market information regardless of mobile, web, or chat!

P.S. – We are still performing work on the ARMSBot ARMS faucet. We will make an announcement in the future when we have it functioning.
2ACoin CORE Release v2.0.0
Work has begun on the next release of 2ACoin CORE. CORE is the software that runs the 2ACoin network and includes the 2ACoind (daemon) and Wallet software. This next release will have some significant changes to the 2ACoin architecture, hence, we are calling this Release V2.0.0!
Features list is forthcoming!
We do not have a release date for v2.0.0 yet. We just completed the design stages and development started earlier this week.
We will have more information about v2.0.0 in a later Weekly News & Updates announcement.
2ACoin Community
2ACoin is growing, we expect that the events over the coming weeks & months will have a huge impact on 2ACoin and our community members. We need members that are excited about 2ACoin and are willing to contribute to it's growth. We're looking for the following;
- Developers (C++, React, Javascript, MySQL, GIT, Linux experience needed)
- Marketers (video, social media,
- Testers (JIRA, Test Scripts, etc.)
- Members (Get involved tell your friends about 2ACoin)

Summary
2ACoin is designed and developed to support the American Right to “Keep and Bear Arms” as set forth in the 2nd Amendment to the Bill of Rights established on December 15, 1791. To meet this goal, 2ACoin includes a pre-mine of 10% of the total available coins (1.791 million ARMS) that will be donated to the Firearm Community over the next 10 years.
